Sometimes other people are complaining about their neighbours because of the loud music that interrupts their relaxation. Others would say that rock music is a noise pollution and fans would really counter them some strong arguments on how that genre is absolutely an art and authentic compared to pop genres. Nevertheless, many individuals have dreamed to become like Kurt Cobain, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart and other famous rock-stars out there. Furthermore, before you start to dream about it, you must also know that some underrated bands like The Magnolias from a famous Nirvana were also starting as an indie.

Venturing in music industry is not that easy especially when you have no connections to some influential people. You would be the luckiest person if some famous icons recognize your talents because of the cover videos you uploaded on YouTube, just like how Justin Bieber was recognized before, thanks to Usher and then suddenly supported you, promoted you and helped you in producing your own music. That can also be the case for a rookie rock band. If promotions went well, their career would boom.

Those individuals who has a band and wanted to show off their talents and be recognized have also experienced this difficulty. Those bands play indie rock in which their songs are usually not commercialized and independently made by them. But in this present generation, the essence of indie rock has now changed since most rookies are now enjoying their success and joining the mainstream sound of music.

Nevertheless, fans in rock music must not disregard this iconic rock-band who was an indie band before. And that is the Arctic Monkeys. They began in 2002 consisting of Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Matt Helders and Mick OMalley.

Back before they gain popularity, they worked and just played at some gigs. They then record their demos and burned it on the CD so they can give it to their audience for free. Little did they know that someone had distributed to others until the public have noticed their talent. Their fans had even created a fan site for them at MySpace without them knowing.

Needless to say, Arctic Monkeys is the example of an artists who were greatly supported by their fans because of their great music. As they began to walk on the success path, they did not fail to amaze their fans. From 2006 until 2018, they have released six albums and one live album.

They have also won 7 Brit Awards and has three nominations from Grammy Awards. It is not surprising considering that their songs are good. And their song-writing is very artistic and clever.

Moreover, they became one of the first group who gain attention through internet, in other words an internet sensation. As a result, many bands are now using that means as well to promote their music. If you search their songs on YouTube, you could really say that their fans still supported them as they got hundred millions of views from most of their songs.

Choosing this as your path might be risky. But this band had proved that everyone can make it. With strong passion, your dreams will surely be attained.
